Success Criteria Writing

In writing, we have been learning to write a persuasive piece of writing. We have co-constructed our success criteria together. Here is our introduction criteria check list. 

Kapa Haka

In a few weeks year 5,6 Will be performing at Eden Albert cultural festival. We will be doing Kapa Haka and singing a few songs. Here is one song called Te Aroha.

All Saints Day

In Religious Education we have been learning about All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day. We did weaving to show our learning. This is mine.

In mandarin class we have been learning about the body parts.  This is what we have learned so far.

In Religious Education we have started learning about All Saints Day. We made title pages and have done a few activities. Here is my title page.

Maori Words

In Maori we have been learning new words for the weather. Our activity was matching up the words to the pictures. Then we displayed it in our book. Here is my display.

Waka

In our class we made a waka for Kia Kaha. We each cut out a person from paper and a paddle. Then we got a word to write onto our paddle and we glued them all onto a big paper cut out of a waka. This is our waka.

Kia Kaha- Shield

This term we are learning about Kia Kaha. Our theme is the same, but different. We made shields to show why we are unique and why our class is special. This is my shield.
