Last week we all made our own Pepeha. A Pepeha is Maori and it is about you. It tells you what your mountain is, what your sea or river is and it also tells you your parents names and your name as well. Here is my Pepeha.
Ko Ōwairaka tōku maungna
Ko Te Moana-nui-a-kiwa tōku moana
Ko Samoan, European tōku iwi
Nō Tāmaki Makau-rau ahau
Ko Te Hepara Pai tōku kura
Ko Malia DeLacey tōku mama
Ko Aaron DeLacey tōku papa
Ko Annika DeLacey tōku ingoa
