My Pepeha

Last week we all made our own Pepeha.  A Pepeha is Maori and it is about you.  It tells you what your mountain is, what your sea or river is and it also tells you your parents names and your name as well. Here is my Pepeha.

Our Class Websites

Last week we started a few websites. One was for maths it was called prodigy. Our other two were for reading and they were called freckle and epic.  I like prodigy the best because you can battle people and learn lots while doing it!

Sun Smart Poster

Last week our class made sun smart posters. We displayed what was sun smart and what wasn't. Always remember to put sunblock on even if you don't think you need it. Here is a photo my poster.

Camp 2019

On Monday the 28th of January all the year sixes went to M.E.R.C camp for the week. At camp we did really fun activities such as surfing, kayak surfing, sailing, giant ladder, rock climbing, abseiling, mountain biking, raft building, dingy games, giant paddle boarding, stack em and orienteering.  Camp was so much  fun.  One night we had a talent quest.  Here is a photo of a dance we did.

My Start of the Year

This week I started school.  So far it has been great. We have done lots of activities and had a leadership assembly on Friday. some of the activities we have done are puzzles pieces, all about me posters and Lunar New Year masks and lanterns. Our class also went swimming. At the leadership assembly I got my special character badge here are some photos.
